In ancient times the  orginal Gingaman fought an group of space pirates known as the Baruban. They sealed them away. For genration thjeir  civivlzation chose new Gingaman to fight the evil if they ever returned.

During one such ceremony the Baruban returned. One of the chosen worriers (Hyuuga) fell through a crevice and passed his powers to his younger brother ( Ryouma).  He and the other chosen ones ( Gouki, Hayate, Hikaru and Saya)  became the new Gingman.

Later Bull Black arrived to battle the forces of the pirates. He ended up havin Hyuuga trapped inside him. Bull Black later died and Hyuuga was freed. He became the new Bull Black. Together the Gingman were able to defeat the pirates.
