Four Thousand years ago the Kempo style was practiced. Which gave the worriers the power to use animal spirits. There were 10 Beast Feast Masters. Three of the Masters rebelled and started their own school based on natural selection. In the [resent Gran Master  Snafu taught the Fierce Beast-Fist Beast Arts ( decides by the seven Beast Feast Masters). One of this students was Rio, who turned against him and started his own school to take over the world.  Ran Uzaki and Retsu Fukami were two other Students that became the Gekiranger. Jan was young man that was   raised in the forest, who jioned them.  Later  Retsu's bother Gou Fukami, jioned the team as Gekiviolet. Unfortunately he uncontrollably turned into a warewolf.  Bae helped him to overcome this.  Ken Hisatsu  later became the fifth member of the team, as Geki Chopper.
